* Instructed by Leeds Park Lane College on behalf of the Learning and Skills Council, the Financial Skills Academy was delivered to students in West Yorkshire and the Retail Skills Academy in both South and West Yorkshire. Focusing on marginalised people, the training focused on the development of self-worth, motivate through a "can-do" philosophy by identifying and nurturing the strengths of individuals and working with them to translate this into playing an active role in their community or work place.
~ Commissioned by the British Foreign and Commonwealth Office and Bradford University, hosting senior officials from the public and private sector from countries worldwide and providing an insight into the workings of the British constitution, politics and mechanics of government.
# Applying the technique of using learning in a safe and fun environment to address the particular problems of neighbourhood, The Taylor Partnership has established community groups - generated a sense of community belonging and pride - and addressed anti-social behaviour.
** Offenders are some of the most marginalised members of society. After paying their price to society, it is the social barriers that prevent them from 'moving on' and reap the benefits of rehabilitation and are at the core of re-offending. The Taylor Partnership, operating within bail hostels, works with offenders to appreciate their skills, evaluate their realistic options and encourages a sense of worth and motivation.
