Who we are
Mark Taylor - Executive Director
Educated at Oxford University, Mark founded The Taylor Partnership Ltd in 2007 and The Taylor Partnership (Immigration) Ltd on 2008, after working as the PA to a Member of Parliament for 7 years. During that time, Mark worked with all government and local government departments. Previously, Mark worked in the insurance industry in Europe and South American. He is fluent in Italian, speaks Portuguese and is studying Spanish and Urdu.
With a natural flare for 'problem solving' and finding solutions, Mark has been involved in a number of projects at the highest level. He wrote the Council of Europe's report on 'So-called Honour Crimes' which was adopted by all Member States. A disabled man with the determination and motivation to inspire, Mark is committed to the principles of equality, integration and social justice and he ensures that these themes run through all of The Taylor Partnership's activites.
An OISC registered adviser at level 3, Mark specialises in human rights and asylum cases and has been an expert witness in cases involving forced marriages, domestic violence and 'honour crimes'. He is a Magistrate.
Charlie McWhinnie - Office Manager
Charlie has had a career in Logistics and Distribution and has worked for major companies throughout Europe, notably being the European Distribution Manager of a major American company. Charlie has also started and owned numerous other business ventures.
An experienced manager, Charlie brings to the Taylor Partnership his experience in this area, financial management and business development.
Linda Thompson - Administrative Officer / Legal Secretary
Linda has worked as an administrator and PA in numerous Law Firms in the UK for a number of years. A valued member of the Taylor Partnership team, Linda is passionate about her work and assists caserworkers with administration and their cases.
